Good questions
Before you make the move.
How much does the service cost?
The data migration service is $2,999 for the scope confirmed before booking. We review your platforms, samples, volumes, and locations first, then identify the included records and any requirements that need another approach.
What data can you move?
The core scope can include supported product and variant records, SKUs, barcodes, customer contacts, and opening stock by location. The exact fields depend on the available source data and destination import method.
Will my sales history appear in the new POS?
That depends on the destination and the available migration method. Standard imports do not always support historical transactions. We review whether records can be imported in a usable form or should remain available through an organized archive.
Can I keep gift cards loyalty and store credit?
We assess each separately. A current balance, a complete card code, and transaction history are different pieces of data. The plan identifies compatibility, any required reissue process, and how the final balance will be confirmed.
Can you preserve our SKUs and barcodes?
Preserving usable identifiers is a priority. We check for missing or duplicate values and destination restrictions, then document any changes. This review also helps identify effects on scanners, ecommerce, and connected systems.
Can we keep selling during the migration?
We plan the transfer around your trading needs. The schedule must account for sales, returns, stock receipts, and other changes after the initial export. The required final pause or update window is agreed for your project.
Can we keep our ecommerce store?
Often the ecommerce decision can be considered separately from the POS change, but the shared catalog, inventory, orders, and integrations need review. Tell us what you want to keep so the plan reflects your intended setup.
How long will the migration take?
We confirm a schedule after reviewing your samples, access, destination readiness, and dependencies. The plan includes time for your review of the test import before the final transfer.
Does this include a complete POS or ERP implementation?
The offer covers the agreed data migration. Hardware, payments, staff training, ERP configuration, and integration changes have their own responsibilities and scope. We identify those dependencies before the move.
What do you need from us first?
Start with your current POS and edition, intended destination, number of locations, approximate record volumes, and desired timing. We will identify representative exports to review before confirming the service.
