A practical retail guide
Stocky Discontinued: Preserve Data and Move Workflows
Stocky ended August 31, 2026. Review read-only exports, historical PO limits and the move to Shopify inventory workflows.
Work from the current discontinuation guidance
Shopify states Stocky is no longer available from August 31, 2026 and cannot be reinstalled after its delisting. Its transition guidance describes at least 90 days of read-only export access after that date. Check access in your actual account promptly; do not assume an indefinite archive or a working Stocky API.
Preserve what does not move automatically
Shopify says Stocky history does not automatically move into Shopify inventory management, suppliers cannot be exported from Stocky and historical purchase orders cannot be imported as equivalent past documents. Keep permitted report exports and a readable index. Do not promise recovery of fields that are unavailable.
Separate new purchasing from historical POs
A native CSV can add lines to a new draft purchase order; this is not recreation of old statuses, receipts or supplier links. Reconcile any remaining open commitment before creating a new PO. Use retained history for reference without receiving the same stock again.
Validate the replacement workflow
Assign owners for purchasing, stock counts, transfers and reorder decisions in Shopify or another selected system. Test a partial receipt and a transfer between stores, then compare opening quantities. Stocky transition is a workflow/archive project, not necessarily a change of POS or a complete purchasing replacement.

Migration scope and responsibilities
The standard migration fee is $2,999 USD for the confirmed scope.
Access to both systems
You must provide Sqquid full authorized access to both systems and be able to access your own data. Arrange access through an agreed secure process. Do not put passwords, API tokens, payment information or customer export files into the general enquiry form.
Source data quality
Sqquid is not responsible for migration errors caused by poor data supplied by the customer. Source issues, proposed corrections and exclusions need to be recorded before the transfer is accepted.
Earlier work and guarantee limits
Sqquid does not guarantee a migration that started before Sqquid was hired. Any guarantee is limited to the data migration work performed by Sqquid and expires on the launch date. Record the agreed launch milestone in the written scope; do not assume post-launch guarantee coverage.
Vendor charges and separate work
Vendor charges are passed to the customer in addition to the confirmed migration fee. POS implementation, hardware, payment setup, staff training and ongoing integrations have separate responsibilities and scope. A Sqquid software subscription is not required for the migration service.
